I'm so jealous! Whenever I try to get one of these, I end up not getting it because I buy other plants. I gotta set my priorities straight :biggrin:

This is one of my favorite Vanda species. I love the spotting. :)

Beautiful! :cheer::cheer::cheer:

I have a young var. suavis but it hasn't reached the bloom stage yet. Could you give me an indication how large they must be to initiate blooms? Some say quite large. My plant has nice roots, healthy foliage and is about one foot tall with two tiny, tiny keikis. Is it still too early to become anxious for blooms?

I would think that given adequate light you may get a flower this coming season. I have seen them in flower slightly smaller if not the same size as your plant.

Thank you. :biggrin:Just what I wanted to hear! :biggrin: Foliage and root growth have been good and the leaves are light green. Sounds like all systems are go.
