Phal leaf help
 
I have 2 phals that are sterting to do funny things with their leaves and was wondering what Im doing wrong and what should I do to help them.
This on is splitting in the middle of both leaves.

This one the bottom leaf is pale and turning yellow.

the one with the split could have had the leaf bent back to far cousing a split but it shouyld not drop the leaf. The other could be a old leaf but see if it is starting to rot at the base of the leaf. The very beginning of crown rot can look like that as well not to scare you but that is how i killed my first 2 phals.

Do the leaves just drop off or do they need to be cut?

My :twocents:, the first photo looks like your humidity might be a bit low. The yellow leaf could be an older one or a root problem. How are your roots? When older phal leaves are ready to drop they will, you don't need to cut them off.

The leaf fell off and I will fix the humidity.
