Brassia Eternal Wind 'Hawaiian Breeze'

This was a free plant given to me last summer by a lady who likes orchids but doesn't want to learn how to care for them. Lucky me!!!! It wasn't in the best shape when I got it, but it recovered very quickly and is now blooming! I couldn't believe it, because hardly any of my other rescue orchids have bloomed that soon after I got them. It has 10 blooms total. I forget how tall they are. Not sure about the name though. I found other selections of Eternal Wind online, but not 'Hawaiian Breeze'. But that's what the tag says, so...

Sorry for the picture quality. It's a scan of a picture my mom sent, since I didn't want to risk breaking the inflorescence or causing bud blast by hauling it 7 hours across Washington state to college with me.

Thank you Rosie! I'll tell my mom she did a good job with the picture!

She sent me another picture of it a week ago. She had told me it had aphids, but I couldn't believe how bad she let it get! Good thing I instructed my parents to isolate everything that spent the summer outdoors! And I can't blame my parents completely. They do have lives of their own. They just haven't learned how to balance plants and the rest of life like we have. lol
