Reed stem epidendrums in Canada

Hi all,

Anyone know a grower in Canada where I can order reed stem epidendrum hybrids? Paramount orchids doesn't seem to have any and I'm reluctant to pick up a radicans species because of how big they can get??

Thank you!

Ryan

Where are you in Canada? Cloud Orchids are usually a good bet.
I am in Orangeville, on

I remember seeing reed stem Epi hybrids at Cloud's. Or perhaps Shangri-la Orchids might have them too

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the replies! My order from Cloud's should be here today when I get off of work. I ordered:

Epi cinnabarinum
Epi floribundum x epi pseudoepidendrum
Epi joseph glow
peristeria elata (because I wanted a huge plant)

Thanks again for your help!

I'm jealous :)! I wish they were closer so I could go in and see the plants. As it is I just managed to get my order in on their last shipping day eep! They have some very interesting plants (I couldn't resist the peristeria!). Since this is my first time ordering, it'll be interesting to see their quality :)! I've ordered from forestview gardens in BC (GREAT healthy plants), paramount orchids in AB (one plant had no roots left but the other was great :) ) and now Clouds. I'm excited :)! It's like Christmas or a b-day getting an orchid shipment!

Have fun with your visit!

They are so cool! I spent most of last night digging out the VERY packed moss from around their roots. Some roots were a little funky but most were nice and healthy. Since all the plants had new roots coming in I tossed them all into s/h, gave them a dose of superthrive and plopped them on the heating mat :D! Super excited! Thanks again for the info!
