I just acquired a Dendrobium atroviolaceum compactum. Could someone tell me how often and how much water does it require? I spray the leaves and flowers every morning. Thank you!

Dendrobium atroviolaceum is a completely different species and different section of the genus Dendrobium. It's also one I've not grown - I'd askj for help in the Dendrobium thread.
