G/H but the other way?

The G/H we need here is a place which can reduce heat. How to do it? But I am thinking
about it over and over again. The G/H what I want is to reduce heat not to keep on the heat.
Some times our temperature is too much to bear .Very hot and it is bad for anything . That is why I mount them or hide them under trees or shelter them.
But that is not a good solution bec slugs come and when after the monsoons rains ( non stop for five days) flowers do not last long and they get damaged . If we put a permanent roof orchids get heated and no rain water which we can get freely.
I can get a transparent roof but how to reduce heat? We have to keep a fan or some ventilation . The Green house at the Botanical gardens at
our hill country is a big building where the temperature is very low. . With a transparent roof and there is a open sky at center of it. They water the orchids. Air conditioning is not affordable here and its a dream.
