So Lovely! Congratulations!

I love this species, looks great. Those leaves look rather wide compared to the iricolor's I've seen.

Wow! what a beauty! Is this a compact grower? And where(if you dont mind)did you purchase yours?

I have it in my collection for at least 16 years. At that time, it was imported from Equador. Today it is a little easier to find seedlings on the catalog of good nurseries:).

Your plants pics are a great relief from distress....

In fact I'm wondering how many years I have to wait for until I'll see and smell my seedlings blooms (1 year from deflasking...)

Those blooms are stunning, Mauro. And I've heard wonderful comments about the fragrance of this species. Do you know if the plant can handle intermediate (or maybe even cool) winter temperatures, or do you grow it warm throughout the year?

Steve
