Zootrophion vulturiceps

Just posted a couple pictures and a description of this species at: Orchids in Bloom: Zootrophion vulturiceps

Wow, that is so cool.

I've seen a red one with a similar shape before but I can't remember what it was. I think it was probably one of your pictures though although it might have been Mauro's.

This one has an 'ethereal' type of look about the flowers.

Is it in a similar group as Masda? The leaves remind me of a Masda.

They are indeed Pleurothallids, Rosie and are related to Masdevallia.
