Just wanted to add that I think this one had a name change....I found this on the Bid Leaf Orchids website: "Famous species with unusal white and red color combination. Formerly known as Phal tetraspis 'C#1' but identified by taxonomist Dr. Leslie Garay as Phal speciosa 'C#1'." Phal speciosa 'C#1' [T1] - $35.00 : Big Leaf Orchids, Fragrant and Novelty Phalaenopsis

It's not an official name change, it is one person's opinion. There is still a lot of controversy. I recently heard a pretty convincing argument that it really should be tetraspis. I have also heard someone claim that C #1 is a hybrid that has corningiana in it. I personally just enjoy the uniquely beautiful flowers regardless of what it is .

I agree...it's beautiful whatever it is...I only care about the name because I was looking to see where it was available and wasn't able to find it under Phal tetraspis...so if anyone else has a hard time finding it try the other name

Mine is in spike. No sign of buds yet. Is the spike normally slow to develop?
