Yam Queen Adelia 'Kiilani'
Not my best photo ops but three spikes and 10 flowers which is a major accomplishment for me, since I have a terrible time getting my Cattleya Alliance plants to do much of anything but take up space!!!!!! Some of the flowers have fallen prey to our local insect population... I summer my catts out on the driveway in my new portable greenhouse, since this is the only place of any kind of major sun I have!

HMM, all I'm seeing are little boxes with red exes.

It's very nice. I love the sunset colors on the blooms. :)
Out of curiosity, what does the abbreviation "yam" stand for? I can see some encyclia in there, but what are the other parents? |

This plant is now a Maumeneara, the only one of its kind, combining Cattleya, Guarianthe, Brassavola, Rhyncholaelia, Laelia, and Encyclia. Other former Yamadaara are under other names now depending on what species ended up in what genera. |
