Gastrochilus japonicus
Hi everybody! :)
I bought this little orchid about two years ago. Unfortunately, even if the plant was flowering, I couldn't enjoy its flowers because I was away for a trip. After that I had been waiting months and months in which I saw only roots and leaves: the plant was growing perfectly but without any flower. Few months ago, suddenly, the huge surprise: two stems appeared among the leaves, followed by two other stems dew weeks ago. I have to admit that this plant looks wonderfully even without any flower: neat growing, no diseases and the slab adorned by a fern and a moss meadow. Here you can see it a few days before the first bud opening: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_VJ-cz9zuTnc/TB...vaM/gastr2.jpg http://lh3.ggpht.com/_VJ-cz9zuTnc/TB...K6Q/gastr3.jpg Then, I had only to wait for the blast: http://lh5.ggpht.com/_VJ-cz9zuTnc/TD...g/SDC12226.jpg http://lh3.ggpht.com/_VJ-cz9zuTnc/TD...U/SDC12219.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_VJ-cz9zuTnc/TD...U/SDC12220.jpg HERE you can find the page of this Sbrindrilla on my web site :) Bye |
