Hello from Vilija

My name is unusual as I am originally from Lithuania but been living in England for last 5 years. It's pronounced Villia :)

I joined this forum as I fell in love with orchids about 2 years ago but got a big shock yesterday when I noticed few small tiny white bugs running around on the roots of my precious flower. Straight away I got on the internet and by accident found this website. I am calm now as by description them bugs are harmless (hopefully!)

Unfortunately I had very bad luck with my first 2 plants, they both died due to some circumstances so when I got the 3rd one I told to myself that I am going to do everything it takes to keep it alive.

So I am here, willing to learn more about these gorgeous plants and meet people who have same passion as I do!!! ORCHIDS :)

This forum is a great friendly place to learn all about orchids. I came here a couple of years back for help on a dying orchid, got the help I needed (that one is growing a spike just now) and then just got sooo addicted to orchids after seening everyone's pics here and enjoying the company of the members here.

Hope you enjoy your time here as much as I have.
