Superthrive in reservoir?
I made a gallon fertilizer and add 1/4 teaspoon of superthrive. Can I also use it in s/h? Is it safe?since the water with superthrive will stay in the reservoir for days? or even months?

I have used Superthrive at the 1/4 tsp/gallon dosage on my s/h plants and have had no problems.
My only suggestions would be to flush your s/h containers once a week so you don't have a buildup and your plants will be getting clean, fresh water. And when you see a spike starting, I would cut back on the Superthrive. I have heard it can make flowers a little deformed if used at too high a dosage around blooming time. I haven't had this happen but it never hurts to cut back just a little during bloom time. |

Fill the pot rapidly to the top and let it drain. That flushes residues, saturates the medium, and completely refreshes the liquid in the reservoir. Failure to follow that will result in a chemical mixture in the reservoir that will eventually kill your plants by poisoning the roots. |
Thank you Ray and Angela for that wonderful information.

You're welcome! :blushing:
