Anyone in Europe have experience with the ebay seller rotmohrmohr?
 

I've been drooling at orchids on ebay again, and have come across a seller called rotmohrmohr in Germany who is selling amazing and somewhat hard to find phals right now. The plants are dirt cheap, the feedback/ratings seems really good, and shipping is decent, but is there anyone from EU who has gotten plants from him? I'm overly cautious when shopping in ebay.

There's a beautiful Phal Abed Nego for sale, some great violaceas and a Phal mannii x bastianii that I really like. Of course with me being in the US now I would need to somehow tell my poor mom (who's caring for about 50 of my orchids while I'm away) that more are on the way to her doorstep....

Anyone know if he has a website as well?

Camille, I will check at it at home and ask some friends too. Most ebay orchids seller from Germany (with a good set of orchids) are actually teh orchids nurseries under a different name... they sometimes also sell plants not in the online shop...

I had seen some of their plants in the past, but never really considered buying anything since shipping was 18€. Now they offer 9€ shipping for a few small plants, so they've suddenly become way more interesting!

Sorry, I didn't see this thread before.
I bought several plants from rotmohrmohr, the first ones the last year.
You can see on my website which plants I bought from him, I found incredibly healthy plants and great prices. :)
I also got in contact with him out of eBay (I don't really like the eBay system and I always try not to give my money to it).
He's a very friendly person, extremely communicative and reliable. I told him I was looking for some species and he found them, with good prices. :D :D
I know (and tried) most of European eBay sellers and rotmohrmohr is definitely one of favourites of mine.

That's very good to know! Sounds like a great seller if he can find plants for you that you'd like. Do you know if he has his own nursery/website, or does he sell exclusively on ebay?

He has not any website, from what I learnt he buys the orchids from a local seller (I ignore who is) and then he sells via eBay.

btw, I think he's not shipping to USA

I saw he sold excellent orchid species for ~9€...
Phalaenopsis gigantea, mariae and another one I forgot for ONLY 12€ :shock::shock::shock::shock:
