Miltoniodes reichenheimii
Miltonioides reichenheimii is a Mexican species that's very adaptable. I grow it warm/hot and wet in the summer, and cool/cold and dry in the winter. It usually blooms in the late winter, but for some reason the plant decided to wait until the spring before it initiated this year's spike. Buds take forever to develop, but they last a long time and are wonderfully fragrant. And although the spike is often anywhere between 4 and 6 feet tall, the plant itself, at approximately 1 foot tall, is relatively compact.

First of these that I've ever seen. Very pretty and sounds like a nice one to grow. Thanks for sharing.
