Masdevallia welischii
 

This species is named in honour of David Alan Welisch of San Francisco, who discovered it in 1978.
Found growing on exposed rocky slopes in a remote mountainous area of Peru from 9,840 feet (3,000 m) to 11,000 feet (3,350 m).
