Masdevallia ignea

Purchased this plant in October 2006 as Masd. coccinea. Imagine my surprise when it bloomed out differently! It's one I've wanted to own. I just love this flower, and the colors are fantastic in person. Hope you guys love it as much as I do! I'm including three photos: one taken in the shade, one taken in the sunlight, and a top view. Yes, I think it likes it cooler. I've had it outside in my shade house though I plan to move it into my terrarium once it finishes blooming. That's for the nice comment!

Beautiful! How big is the plant and big is the bloom?

The plant is in a 3" clay pot, and the flower measures about 1 1/2 inches? It's smaller than I thought it would be. :)
