i just moved a Phalaenopsis cochlearis and a paph noid to S/H using a clear pot and a sourcer - i given them supertrive and no firteliser yet

no why would you be doomed? Are your plants healthy?

I use a bowl rather than a saucer, holds more water.

Deffinatlely not doomed!

I'm sure your plants will be fine, they just need to adapt to the new environment.:)

And when they do, you'll be very happy you did it. Mine always go through a period of uncertainty but then seem to grow like weeds.
