Restrepiella ophiocephala-> how long do blooms last?
 

I have two Restrepiella ophiocephalas, one of which is about to bloom despite having lived in my house all winter. How long do you think the bloom will last?

I found them on ebay last year, it was a division of a much larger plant that Fred Fuchs Jr had collected in the 1960's.

Maybe about 3 days or so. Definitely not more than a week. It'll keep blooming until it's done for the season.

Yup, they're seasonal bloomers.

ok, thank-you very much. Its had a rough winter having gone from thriving outdoors in Fla. to indoors in NJ, so I am completely thrilled it is blooming.
