Is this a Cattleya breed?
Brought this plant over the week end. no name tag.

Yes it is in the cattleya alliance. I am not sure what it is though |
From the shape of the flower, I'd say an Epicattleya...certainly there is Encyclia in the make-up, along with Cattleya, but there might be Laelia, Sophronitis or even Brassovola there as well!

I can't help you with ID, but I can confirm that it is a cattleya or a hybrid with cattleya in it. Lovely colour!
