"Blisters" on a phal
i've just started to notice one of my well-established phals isnt doing so well anymore. its becoming limp and shriveled despite proper care. Now ive noticed its developed what i can only describe as 'blisters' like we would get. Bulging yellowish spots filled with liquid. what on earth is this?
sorry for the terrible picture quality :( http://i43.tinypic.com/v3n7ua.jpg |
I'd isolate the plant until someone on here can give you a more definitive answer.
Doesn't look like sunburn or physical damage to me, so perhaps something fungal or bacterial, I'm not experienced enough to tell yet. This pdf by Sue Bottom has really helped me with learning about different pests and diseases and their treatment: http://www.staugorchidsociety.org/PD...ySueBottom.pdf If there's any chance you can get a clearer picture, that might help people identify it as well. |
It kind of looks like Oedema, is the underside of the leaf ok or does the blister go all the way through to the underside?
