Custom regulations question
 

I plan on ordering a few orchids from Thailand, 1 being a Vanda Pachara delight blue, BLUE!! Anyways, I understand there are some steps I need to take in order to get these plants past customs, does anyone know what I need to do?

You need CITES and phytosanitary papers.

No CITES and phyto needed for flasks though.

And you need an import permit from APHIS.

you can get that vanda from several places here in the states...hausermanns, aloha, and carmela i believe....i would try to find it here rather than importing.....

mmmm!! those flowers cold end up costing a lot more, I believe there is a charge for those papers, plus the delievery time would be a lot faster, those things can get delayed in customs, so I been told.
