Help with Phal roots

I re-potted my phals in October last year and most of them are doing really well. One in particular is doing too well. It's roots are already going out the drainage holes in the bottom of the pot and it is getting ready to bloom. I have it in a 6" clear plastic pot in fir bark. My problem is, the pot won't stand up-right now and I don't know what would be the best remedy here.

Would it harm the plant if I just broke off the roots coming thru the holes? One of them broke while I was watering today. Should I move it to a larger pot? And, if so, where would I find a taller clear plastic pot? I looked at repotme.com and their pots aren't any taller than mine. Does anyone have another source?

Thanks for your help.

Shirley

Could you find a ceramic/clay pot to sit that plastic one in?

Yeah, I was thinking of that!
