Just got back from the NC Orchid Show held at the Arboretum in Asheville. I loved it. It was small, but glorious and had a great turn out. I took lots of photos and have put up a photo gallery from the event. Here's the link:

I have been to Asheville to see their Bonsai display but not the orchid show. Nice displays. Thanks for the pics. I am presently in the hospital so you made my day.

Great photos, Melody! I was working at the raffle table on Friday night and then I went back a couple more times throughout the weekend to stare at all the plants. :D It was a great show, even though I had a hard (not entirely successful) time keeping my money in my wallet in the vendor area. :biggrin:

The Dendrobium Yellow Chinsai 'Little Joe' (picture #186) was my favorite orchid at the show, beautiful sunny color and wonderful fresh fragrance from that crazy mass of blooms. Someone who knew the grower told me it was a pretty young one of those, too. :bowing Thanks for posting these!
