A nice species that isn't the floofiest, but subtly beautiful in a 'zen' sorta way...at least to me :)

Very nice! I like the more subtle beauty of a lot of the non-fluffy Catts more than many of the in your face types.

Thanks for stopping by and the comments guys! :) I was a little irked that the blooms decided to open in exactly opposite directions...I guess that's what happens when you have a light source directly above the plant rather than in one direction.

Steve - the blooms last quite a bit, for 3 weeks+. Haven't sniffed it for fragrance but IOSPE says that it should be so I'll have to go home and check tonight :)

Very nice, Calvin. I love a good floof, but I also really appreciate these more restrained and simple flowers.

Calvin, My experience with C. forbesii has been that it's a fragrant flower during the brightly lit daytime.
