BLC. Bonanza x LC. Orglade's Glow
 

This pretty little plant just opened up for me. I haven't noticed the very sweet smell that these guys have yet, but I'm hoping it's coming!

The color of this BLC x is not as it is shown here, in fact it is a very deep purple! I just haven't figured out how to get a correct color rendition. I've tried several different white balances, lighting techniques and a few other tricks, I just can't get my camera (Canon 40D) to capture shades of purple correctly.

The second bloom finally opened all the way and now the fragrance is starting to show it up. perfect!

And I think I figured out the coloring issue. So in dimmer lighting the flowers look like a dark, dark purple. But place the plant in bright, direct sun and you'll see the color truely is a fuscia and that's what the light from my strobes simulates, 5600K daylight, thus the color shown above. Oh well, it's still pretty.
