cymbidium with wrinkled bulbs! PLEASE HELP!!!!

I just bought this orchid last week at our local grocerie store. It looked pretty good until i took a look under some of the decorative stuff on top and found that the bulbs were wrinkled. The plant seems to be doing fine i just don't know that much about cymbidiums so i'm not sure if this will be okay or if the plant will go into a donward spiral from WhIcH IT WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!! okay, maybe just a little bit of overkill. anyway all you cymbidium guru out there, PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE MY PLANT DIES. if that could be a cause from the wrinkled bulbs. thanks for any info in advance!

That looks to be an Oncidium alliance orchid, not a Cym.
However, yes - that pbulb is severely shriveled. Either the plant has been way underwatered, or there aren't any good roots to take up water.
Your first step should be to unpot and see what the roots look like.

so if it is only way underwatered, how long would it take to get back to it's original size. i know this has a lot to do with how many roots it has but i just thought i would ask.

Well - in my experience, they shriveled pbulb won't plump up again, but new growth should grow in nicely and new pbulbs will be fine :)
I have read some people say the pbulbs may plump a bit, but not to it's original state, and that very well may be, I just haven't had it happen myself ;)
