Laelia autumnalis in bloom
 

This is one of my favorites. I love the color, especially the darker tips and the way the the sepals and petals curl back. I usually get 2 spikes on this one, but a creature decided to devour one of the bulbs this year :(
You can see how the petals look almost like the are trying to go peloric with their ruffled edges.

That is really lovely. I like the way the petals are recurved and the way it fades from dark to light. Good growing.
