Just purchased my first Orchid at a garden store. I have been surfing the web and getting lots of info. Now I am more confused then ever!!! LOL One of my problems is that my new Orchid did not come with a tag telling me what kind it is, so my first order of business is to have you all help me identify what I have. I really need to know how to care for this beautiful flower.

If you could post a picture of it we could tell you what type it is. Or you could browse through the threads and get it narrowed down that way.

A pic is the best way for us to tell you what type it is. Even if we can't give an exact ID it should be enough to help you care for it.

hi leda and welcome to the board...i think most likely you have a phalaenopsis if you bought it at a big package store.....check out some pictures of those on the web and let us know....
