I just finished reading an article on a spray that will keep a banana tree from freezing,( to a certain extent). I wonder if this would work on orchids ??? HTTP://davesgarden.com/guides/view/2332/ Would not this be nice ???

Try search, Orchid forum, then GW Forum,(Garden Web), Then banana. That's how I found it.

The product is FreezePruf, marketed by Liquid Fence: FreezePruf - Improves Freeze Tolerance Up to 9.4 Degrees

Unfortunately, I doubt it would have much effect upon orchid growing, as the product is intended to reduce or prevent damage caused by exposure to freezing. It does not change the plants preferred temperature conditions.
