I have this Oncidium that has lost its ID. ANy ideas on what it is?

Thanks

I don't know what it is, but it sure is a beauty! :) It might have some odontoglossum in there aswell.. It kinda reminds me of it (the spots do).. Meybe an oncidium/brassia/odontoglossum mix? But grabbing at straws here, I really dunno for sure :).

Thanks for the help.
I think its an Od. Bictoniense, but I wanted a 'second opinion'.

Anyone?

I don't think so. Rhynchostele (thanks taxonomists) bictoniense has a very prominent, broad, spade-shaped lip, while yours is pointy, more like that of a brassia or ada.

I wouldn't doubt it as a parent though.

Actually, the lip is broad. The pictures were taken a week or two too late, and the flower started to curl.

I'll post a new picture in a few weeks when I get a better shot.

Thanks for the reply!
