I always wanted to retire outside U.S. and Thailand has everything I like at a good price and it is like living inside a greenhouse.

It's a Bulbophyllum, but unfortunately I don't know much about them so I can't tell you which one, or how to grow it. Hopefully a Bulbo grower can chime in. What I can tell you is that Bulbos are very diverse and vary in cultural requirements. That's a very attractive one you've got there!

OH great ! how old are you?
well in the past year I went to Jamaica and Haiti - and there was something I loved even with nothing...
Jamaica was great when I rented a bicycle and went miles over the hills to the countryside.

Is it hard to get a visa to live there? is it cheap? are you by the ocean and travel to nearby countries?

maybe you could grow some species and sell them to us orchidboard members!

well good luck - post pictures or links to pictures.
Did you make friends there?

Well I haven't studied the taxonomy of the Bulbophyllinae, so I have no opinion on whether Trias should be classified as Bulbophyllum or not. I just classify all the Bulbophyllinae as Bulbophyllum for the sake of simplicity. Perhaps one day I'll look into this group and form an opinion...
