So i need a really small growlight, have been looking for 8w Flouresents lights, but cant find the right color (color 865 - daylight) does anybody have an idea of what to do for growlight that fints in a terraium in the size 30*30*30 (Cm) Its 27L and i want to grow phal. minus, phal. appendiculata and Schoenorchis fragrans and maybee some mini dendīs.

Pleas can somebody help me

Why not just spiral compact fluorescents? You could probably get at least two 26W lamps within a 30x30cm footprint, though you might need to make a custom hood for it.

Hello Erce,
I use PL lights, that are U-shaped fluorescent lights. This is what mine look like: http://www.rainforest-frogs.nl/shop/images/Z0080.jpg

I could find it in 4000 Kelvin. I grow and flower my plants with 4000 K, haven't seen problems yet... and if you can give it day light I think you could come close to 5500 K on average.

FYI, 11 Watt is a bit shorter than 24 cm.

I also saw this type of PL: http://www.rainforest-frogs.nl/shop/...JF-120x120.jpg but I have no idea in what colors it's available.

Sounds like a fun project!

They make a ott light about that size that has a replacable 4 pin bulb that has a screw in base.

I dont remember the exact wattage but about 12 watts I think. These are supposed to be full spectrum bulbs so they may work

they carry these at home depo
