Vanda Memoria Kathleen Thomas is a lowe's rescue from two years ago. My tag says V. Dr. Anek x V Manuvadee. RHS now has that cross registered as V. Memoria Kathleen Thomas. First flowers for me.

Indeed, my mom (Kathleen Thomas) died in 2001 and through my family's connections and Banjong Orchids in Miami, Fla., this Vanda's application for registration was accepted by The Royal Horticultural Society / The International Orchid Registrar in Stapleford, Nottingham, England, United Kingdom. (The International Orchid Register / RHS Gardening) The info you relayed is, of course, accurate.

I am not an orchid oficionado. As a family member, I was gifted one of these orchids in honor of my mother. Unfortunately, I no longer have it (I believe that it succumbed to both a fungus and a virus). Thank you very much for posting your photo's!
