Prosthechea radiata - brown spots on leaves
2 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I have these spots on a Prosthechea radiata (Encyclia radiata) I just bought it, I saw the spots, but I don't want to give it back, it seems such a nice, fragrant lady.. So I would like to save it, if it's not that bad.. These spots are on a couple of leaves, there are fresh new ones, unaffected. Is it fungus, is the bacterial brown spot? What do I do, do I cut the affected areas, how do I get rid of this? Thanks so much. mrs.TF LE: Would it be this? I found it following the pest link.. There is quite a resemblance, but I am not 100% sure http://www.aos.org/AM/Template.cfm?S...entDisplay.cfm |
:bump: Sorry, but I have no idea what the problem is, other than it doesn't look good to me. Being as paranoid as I am, I would probably remove the affected leaves without knowing what is causing the black spots, but I know that isn't always the best thing to do. Hope someone with more experience has some better suggestions! :goodluck:
