Cute new fragrant yellow phal
2 Attachment(s)
Friday evening I was the victim of a 'sticky' pot, as Rosie puts it so well! It's a really cute phal, that looks like it's either a primary hybrid or something that hasn't been excessively hybridized. The leaves are large and a bit wavy like some species phals, and the blooms are small, and fragrant!! Smells very sweet. Also has 2 crowns, but I don't know if it's 2 plants, or just a basal keiki. I had to rearrange the windowsill after taking the picture, because with such large leaves it's hard to fit it there!

Those sticky pots sure are out to get us!
It's a lovely one, Camille, and so great to find a fragrant one! No wonder you couldn't resist! |
It's gorgeous Camille! Those sticky pots can really get you can't they

OK, so call me brain-dead....wouldn't be the first time!!!! What is a "sticky pot?" One that sticks to you as you try to leave the store???? I've NEVER had one of those!!!!!:rofl::rofl:

Ah Howard, that's my hubby who calls them 'Sticky Pots'.
He has noticed that once I pick up an orchid in a shop I'm unable to put it down again. He says they must have sticky pots which cause them to stick in my hand once they have been picked up :coverlaugh: He also says he is impressed how they magically unstick when I get home  I mentioned this the other day and that's what Camille is refering to. |
Cute story.... thanks. I guess I'm not as brain-dead as I thought.
