Can orchid's catch a cold?
 

Hi everyone Just when you thought you have been asked everything. I've been a little under the weather lately (just a little head cold). And as I was caring for my plants I started to wonder if I could if I could pass any problems to my plants?

A cold is a virus, and thankfully, viruses are (usually) very species specific. That's why you can't catch Cymbidium Mosaic Virus and your Cyms can't catch your cold. No need to give your orchids the swine flu shot either.
