Not so sure it would be a Palm, the first shot definitely makes me think Plumeria or Fragipani though... the trunk looks very much like it.

The leaves look very much like a Hoffmannii but what looks like flower buds look like a Pilea. Is the stem thick and succulent?

Its very hard, like a stick from a tree, but it is thick, the leaves are also very waxy and light shines though them easily. my sister was telling me as it grows, the leaves nearest to the bottom star tot falloff as it grows new ones

Sounds allot like Hoffmannii

are you positive? the Hoffmannai seems to have raised ridges on its leaves and is alot darker and reder then the one i have, it looks an awful lot more like the Plumeria or Fragipani

Oh no, I'm definitely not positive. It just looks similar. I believe that Plumeria and Fragipani exude white sap if cut and Hoffmannia do not. That could be a test. I've only grown a few Plumeria so I'm definitely not the right person to id them.

I was chatting with the folks in chat and we came to the conclusion is must be a fragipani hybrid, it does have the white sap
