New growth Q
2 Attachment(s)
Hi All,
I've been gone for 5 weeks. My wife was looking after the plants. I came home and this dend has new growth. Q: How should I treat this growth/plant? Thank you |
They're nice, healthy keikis... I recommend leaving them on the parent plant until next year, when the keiki canes are mature and produce a new growth of their own. You can then simply detach them with your fingers and give them their own pot and medium.
Cheers, Andrew. |
Congratulations on your keikis! Your plant decided to have babies while you were gone :cheer: I agree that leaving them on the parent plant is a good idea until they get bigger and have better roots. The parent den looks like it will be viable for a while, so let the babies be until they easily detach as Andrew said :goodluck:

Andrew, Judi, Thank you.
I'll keep an eye on it and do as you suggest. :) Peter |
