Cattleyas with huge flowers
Hello fellow catt lovers! I recently came across this hybrid on Ebay and got kind of shocked. The name of this hybrid is Blc. ronald's canyon 'koko head', the description of this hybrid said, the flower size will be 9 inch across on a mature plant:shock:
I know catt flowers can be as large as foot long on c. warscewiczii, but it is more like a star shape rather than round. This hybrid is totally round, can't imagine a flower as huge as that.
I wonder are there any other hybrids having huge flowers (larger than 7 inch) like that? I kind of want to collect these hybrids. It must be really exciting to see those giant blooms:)
