Cattleya guttata in SH?

I have a small Cattleya guttata in a 3" pot - was wondering if it would be ok to try it in SH. any opinions or experience?

i got a bunch of hydroton and found some semi clear cups that are perfect for smaller plants. just poking 2 holes on the side.

Any Catt will do fine in S/H.

Just remember to make the switch when the plant is initiating new roots.

Cheers.

Of all the different plants I have, the Catts seem to love the SH best. I can't believe how healthy my Catts are and the blooms are prolific.

yea put it is SH! wicking in the beginning seemed slow but after a few days ok [use hydroton].
is SH ok for Encyclias and Brassavolas as well?

of the plants you tried which ones loved SH the least or did not really liked it at all?
I am converting a lot of stuff to SH to make it easier and less messy.

Think ice coffee cups work well!
