This one bloomed in the spring, also. It gets a lot more of a pinkish-brown color when it's in the sun....and it smells exactly like black pepper. It's the ultimate "Condiment Cattleya"!

I like that, with the egg yolk center and the pink spotting. Really nice.

The forbesii influence really comes out in the color and lip. Nice in an unusual sort of way.
