Another gift from my friend Linda R. She gave me this division a few months ago and I'd say it has settled in to it's new home nicely :dance:

There will be 4 blooms on this spike. In addition to this one, there's a spike with 4 buds just bursting through the sheath and a third spike with just the multi-bud shadow showing through in the right light ;)

Beautiful healthy plant and flowers. I think it has one of the loveliest rosy floral scents of all Cattleyas so make sure you sniff it in the morning sun.

Very special for me since it is the orchid that started me on rehabbing Cattss in water culture 5 years ago. It had deep rhizome rot. I was left with one dehydrated pseudobulb with wrinkled leaves. It went on to produce five perfect blooms on one stem eventually.

Great colors! :love: I'd love to be able to grow catts so that I could have some beauties like this, but so far all I get is empty sheaths...

Thats stunning. I think I might have one of those too. All your leaves look so healthy and pretty. Most of my catts were caught in a hail storm.

I attribute blooming Catts to supplemental light in the Winter and time. I frequently get empty sheets before I get flowers.
