Phal. intermedia
Here are a couple of plants from the same compot that Sue's came from. It's kind of interesting to see the differences in color, shape, and especially the lip, between the three. I think Sue got the one with the nicest lip. The shape of the one I have with several flowers open is the nicer shape but the one with just a single bloom so far has the nicer lip.

So these are the siblings of Sue's plant, eh? They're lovely too!
It really is interesting to see the variation. The second one may not have as nice of shape, but I do like the lip better, and even the faint traces of purple in the petals. Perfect or not, I give 'em   |
They're lovely, John...and thanks again :blowkisses:

Sue, the three have such different flowers! It fascinates me that they are so different.

Another aspect of why these things are so darn COOL!!!!

They look great!! I Saw Sue's on Facebook, and I'm surprised at the amout of variation there is. That's what makes orchids so interesting! Looks like I MUST get one of these now, it's so cute!

Wow, different to Sue's but all three are such wonderful flowers.
I had equestris at the top of my wish list, but now intermedia could almost push it off the top spot. I understand intermedia is a natural hybrid of equestris, is that correct? |
