Vanda roeblingiana is an easy vanda to grow.
In Taiwan, it usually blooms in late summer. The flowers are long-lasting but not fragrance.

Thanks for your post...I lost my roeblingiana a while back, so it's nice to see yours blooming so well. :) It is a beauty!

It looks like it blooms on a small plant. Am I right to assume this?

I do not want to pollinate them because it usually takes several years to raise the seedlings of vandas.

Unfortunately it got a crown rot that I did not catch in time to save the plant...:( I do hope to replace it some day, but I haven't found it available yet. :D

Very nice : colours and shape ! The lip is really amazing. I am thinkong of getting one but I read that it's mostly a cool climate specie.
