I found this good looking guy perched on a small palm in my pocket garden. He's a Spotted Oleander Caterpillar Moth Empyreuma affinis. I don't have Oleanders but my next door neighbor does. The caterpillars are not considered to be very destructive.

Wow, that really is a handsome bug. Such great shots of him as well.
