Paph. plant label question
Hello all,
I have a beautiful paph. which is currently spiking. A plant tag is in the pot and I was hoping someone could help me make sense of it. I will type exactly what it says below: Paph. Raisin Pie 'Hsinying') x Sib (Paph. Supersuk 'Eureka' AM/AOS x There are also letters are in a different font and may be printed directly on the tag that say "NNPV" along the top of the tag. Is this an un-named hybrid of Raisin Pie and Supersuk? Thanks, John |

(Paph. Supersuk 'Eureka' AM/AOS x Paph. Raisin Pie 'Hsinying') x Sib -- a cross between 2 sibs from (Paph. Supersuk 'Eureka' AM/AOS x Paph. Raisin Pie 'Hsinying') ? :twocents: That's the only way it makes sense to me:) Do you think it might be a typo on the label? Is it one of those heat transfer labels? bingo |
I have this plant -
(Paph. Supersuk 'Eureka' AM/AOS x Paph. Raisin Pie 'Hsinying') - I believe it is now registered as Hysinying 'Alien' |
I have this plant too. It's a really variable cross, but very nice. I'll be posting an update of the blooms on mine soon.

Yes, that is a named cross, but it should be documented and correctly spelled as Paphiopedilum Hsinying Alien (no quotes).
