A long time orchid fan...
 

Well today is my birthday and I literally about a 1/2 hr ago received two orchid plants from a very sweet new love interest. ;) As you can imagine I'm on cloud nine... however I have this sense of dread...

I will DIE... I tell you... DIE of embarassment if I kill these things... I really hope yall can help!

So that's why I came on here today... I was hoping to find some beginners guide or orchid 101... some 12 step program or something :)

I suppose I'll go post my questions in the beginner section.

Yipes! There are alot of knowledgeable folk here to help with your questions. Just post at the beginners part and see what happens. You will need to identify your plants as that REALLY helps!!! Also be sure to check out the Chat for live dialogue that starts at 8PM EST (7PM your time??)

:welcome: Aboard Inara it's great that you have choosen the OB "its the best". The members grow in so many different enviroments and will be more than willing to help you out with any questions you have. We all started off the same way one orchid at a time. Just remember the only thing silly about a question is the one you did not ask. We have a :photo: gallery where many of us take :photo:s of our orchids and please take some of your newbies to share. The only class I am having problems getting to the next level is photography 101, orchids 101 is much easier :biggrin:...glad you could join us...:banana:
