Best windows for my area
Hey all of OB. I'm hoping for a relatively quick answer I hope. I live in Atlanta, and I'm currently working with a limited supply useable east facing windows. We have a wonderful sun room that get light from the East, North, and South, thanks to panoramic windows. I'm a little concerned the Phals would get to hot in the room, and have avoided placing them here. Any thoughts? Also, if you wouldn't recommend it, do you think they would get enough light in a south facing window, or would I need to supplement. Thanks!:bowing

zxyqu, I love that Minho Princess in your avitar!!!
Your sun room sounds wonderful for orchids, just run a fan for some air circulation and you should be fine. Usually South windows are a bit bright for phals but if you have some plants in front of the phals for shade, it should be ok. Or you could place the phal about 8-10 feet from the window. Joann |
