Anyone who remembers my struggles with my Catasetum will be proud of my accomplishments...so far. Steve....are you there? Last year, these guys lost their leaves before they were fully mature. I'm (almost) shocked that they've gotten this far, this time. I'm referring back to all the advice given to me last year and also, keeping my fingers crossed.
Wish me luck!! Ctsm. imperiale, Ctsm. Thinger Dinger x expansum |
Congratulations, always nice to see/hear success storys! My husband keeps asking when I'm going to throw my "bag ones" out - the 2 I have spag/bag trying to save, pretty much impossible, but will wait and see. Keep up the good work.

Very nice! Just be sure to let the media get somewhat dry before watering. I can't be sure, but I think I see some algae growing. Don't worry, Ive been battling the same stuff myself this year due to a kinda wet summer. That Catasetum should be throwing a spike pretty soon so keep checking the base for a spike! :goodluck:
